Mortal Kombat Vita GETS OVER HERE This Spring

While it had been widely whispered that Mortal Kombat would throatpunch the Vita at some point, Warner Bros. has officially announced that its brutal fighting series will arrive in the Spring of 2012. Perhaps more interesting is the fact that the game won't just be a straight port of the console version, but have exclusive content, as the company describes it as being "designed specifically for on-the-go gaming with brand new gameplay features and content developed exclusively for the new handheld device".

What exactly that means wasn't specified. In what may be related news, Vita-owning game journalist Heath Hindman has gone missing after being promised "MK Spankings" at the hands of one Anthony Severino.
