This Is What Bandai Namco’s Upcoming Vampire Game Looks Like In Action

Last week Bandai Namco introduced Code Vein, a vampire action RPG with an attractive visual style. Although there was no gameplay footage to speak of, that's changed with the release of today's trailer.

Code Vein's first ever trailer focuses on explaining how major gameplay principles will work. For one, it looks at the weapon based combat, which will incorporate a vast toolkit that encourages choice and strategy. It also briefly showcases companion gameplay, a component that will allow players to select from a large number of NPCs with distinct skillsets to assist them on their adventures.

Perhaps most important, this trailer shows what the attractive visual style looks like in motion. You can watch it above.

Code Vein is scheduled for a release in 2018 on consoles.
