Bandai Namco Is Teasing Something Bizarre

If there's one thing gaming hobbyists revel in it's speculation, and Bandai Namco clearly knows this. This morning, the publisher revealed a short, unexplained teaser trailer, with next to zero information supporting it other than the hashtag #PrepareToDine. To be clear, that's "dine." Not die. Dine.

The teaser features a seemingly harsh 2D style, showing what appear to be scenes involving vampires. Additionally, there's a female figure wielding a sword and squaring off to fight a monstrous opponent as the teaser concludes. The video was uploaded to Bandai Namco's YouTube channel, and can be seen below.

As mentioned, we really don't know anything aside from "#PrepareToDine," which does support the vampire theory but little else. Some have speculated that this could be a new From Software title, but there's zero evidence of that at this time. Still, if the studio is truly finished with Dark Souls for the time being, then it's certainly not impossible.

We'll keep you posted on any new developments, though for now it may be best to keep one eye trained on Bandai Namco's Twitter account to see if they decide to elaborate. Otherwise, replay this 30-second tease a couple dozen times and let us know what you come up with.
