Deal: Buy a GTX 1070 Or 1080 and Get For Honor Or Ghost Recon Wildlands For Free

If you're like me, you've been looking to upgrade your graphics card for some time, especially given that most new AAA games that come out have at least the GTX 1060 as their recommended card.

But, while you're on the hunt for the next best thing in PC graphics, GeForce has you covered. Just today, they've announced a new deal to include your choice of For Honor or Ghost Recon Wildlands for free with the purchase of an eligible GTX 1070 or GTX 1080.

Neither of these games have official specific recommendations for specs just yet, with For Honor listing a wide range of viable graphics cards and Wildlands being mum on the issue, still more than two months away from release. But, from pre-launch videos it seems that you might get more use out of this graphics card upgrade with Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Wildlands has looked like nothing short of the genuine article, in terms of a challenging, cooperative, tactical shooter, showing off its freedom of choice and surprisingly in-depth single-player experience. It has also managed to drum up hype by showing almost exclusively extended gameplay videos, as opposed to cinematic trailers.

For Honor is more of a mixed bag, in terms of pre-launch coverage, with many people noting its many disappointments (always-online, no splitscreen, peer-to-peer, etcetera), but, as we went over in our impressions of the Closed Beta, there is still a promising, innovative core underneath all of that, and Ubisoft still has time before release to pull it together in a finished product.
