Game Developers Choice Awards Reveals Final Nominees, Including GOTY Candidates

By now just about everyone has weighed in on what they think the best games of 2016 were. Overwatch and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End have virtually tied in terms of total awards, while games like Battlefield 1, INSIDE, The Last Guardian, and DOOM have battled for attention among good company. It wasn't an easy year to decide who to crown victorious, and even now it isn't completely clear which game is considered to be at the top of the totem pole.

As usual, the Game Developers Choice Award has arrived after the new year to put a capstone on end of 2016 awards. Including 14 different categories, it is seen as one of greatest authorities on gaming awards.
