Star Wars: The Old Republic Gets Release Date, Subscription Plans

Bioware's fully voice-acted, "far, far away" galaxy-travelin', Sith-vs-Jediing MMO is on its way out soon. If you're wondering exactly when you can make your way back to The Old Republic, EA's got news for you. Star Wars: The Old Republic will launch this year on December 20th in North America and December 22nd in Europe.

Every new player will net a free month with their purchase of the game and will have to fork over $15 for every month following that. If you want to pony up the dough for more than one month at a time, you can purchase a three month pass for $42 and a six month pass for $78.
