Free World of Warcraft: Legion Companion App Goes Live Today [Screenshots Added]

As discussed at PAX, Blizzard is releasing a World of Warcraft: Legion Companion app today. At no cost, Android and iOS users can download the app to access major Order Hall and World Quest functions from their smartphone.

Among the things that the app supports are the following:

  • Order Hall mission initiation and completion.
  • Research Order Hall talents.
  • Troop training.
  • Champion equipment management.
  • View currently available World Quests.

I've downloaded the app and taken screenshots of its various menus, which you can see below.

The app is currently available for download on Android and iOS. It is 151MB in size and requires you to login to your Battle.net account.

My initial impressions are that it's remarkably useful for ensuring that you run new missions the moment they are available without having to necessarily hop on your computer. It's also useful for checking to see if any highly valuable World Quests have popped in The Broken Isles.
