Valve Looking to Hire A Psychologist

If you have a Psych degree and love to play video games, then opportunity might be knocking right now. Who says you need to know programming and math and… physics and… nerdy stuff like that to make video games? A quick perusal of Valve's job openings shows that they're looking for a psychologist to "help craft even more compelling gameplay experiences for future Valve titles." There's also an opening for a food services employee, for all you gaming cafeteria ladies out there.



If I recall correctly, Valve and scientists have a history of badassery together.

Hey, why not give it a shot? Instead of running tests in some sterile lab, you might participate in designing new situations for GLaDOS to… run tests in some sterile lab, I guess. But a virtual one!

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows. Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
