Quantum Break’s TV Show Totals at 75GB in Size With Over One Hour of Footage

Microsoft is betting on Quantum Break making waves when it debuts in just under two weeks. With Remedy Entertainment behind it, and plenty of ambition, it certainly has a favorable future.

In regards to ambition, Quantum Break is trying something new by merging both a live action TV show and gameplay. It's something that isn't well understood by most consumers, but has been promised to be unlike anything in the current generation.

The TV show element is no minor portion of the game, either. While the episodes will be streamed within the game, requiring an internet connection, they can be downloaded in the form of an Episode Pack that totals at a whopping 75GB.

So what's the reason for such an enormous size? Well, apparently there is more than an hour worth of video, and choices made within the game result in different scenarios. These branching paths have inflated the scope to something the gaming industry has never seen before.

Quantum Break will release on April 5th for Xbox One and Windows 10.
