Sony Entertainment Network Replacing Qriocity

President of Sony Computer Entertainment announced the arrival of Sony Entertainment Network, accessible via your PlayStation Network account, at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin, Germany.

This "ultimate digital destination" will replace Qriocity services by name: Video on Demand will become Video Unlimited (essentially the video store in the PlayStation Store), and Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity will just become Music Unlimited where users can stream over 7 million songs.

Music Unlimited will be spreading its services to Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, The Netherlands and Belgium by the end of 2011. You can try a 30-day trial of Music Unlimited by going to the official website of Sony Entertainment Network.
