Professor Layton and The Last Specter Comes with Free 100-Hour RPG

Nintendo has just released the official North American release date for Professor Layton and The Last Specter on Nintendo DS to be October 17th (as well as Tetris: Axis on October 2nd), which Sales & Marketing Scott Moffitt believes is a sign of strength of Nintendo's handheld lineup:

Nintendo has something for you this fall, no matter what type of gamer you are, no matter what Nintendo system you're playing. Whether you're looking for a world-spanning epic like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the pick-up-and-play puzzle fun of Tetris: Axis or the mind-bending adventure of Professor Layton and the Last Specter, we've got you covered.

Professor Layton and The Last Specter will feature the most puzzles in any game in the franchise yet and explore how The Professor met Luke before the start of The Forgotten Village. And also something about a demon with red eyes and evil stuff.

Exclusive for North American players, this fourth installment of the Professor Layton series will also come with Professor Layton's London Life, an RPG with more than 100 hours of additional content that will be unlocked at the beginning of the game, instead of after the main game is completed.
