Godzilla Gets Release Date, New Trailer

Godzilla comes out on July 17 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and Bandai Namco has released a new trailer to mark the release date announcement.

The game allows players to destroy cities as the titular creature or a number of other famous monstrosities. They all fight each other as well, so everyone's dream match-ups can take place in Godzilla. Mothra, Space Godzilla, Jet Jaguar, and many others make appearances in the game.

The trailer shows off some of these epic bouts, and it looks like the game will allow for plenty of destruction. Just think of all the potential with collapsing buildings!

Godzilla is a digital-only title on PS3, while the PS4 version touts both retail and digital versions. Be sure to check out our recent preview of the game.
