Gears Boss Denies Marcus Fenix Collection

It looks like those hoping for a remastered trilogy of the first three Gears games will be left disappointed, as Black Tusk producer Rod Fergusson has confirmed on Twitter that a Marcus Fenix Collection for Xbox One is not in the works.

"I love the passion, but there’s no Marcus Fenix Collection," he tweeted. "We ARE working on other exciting Gears projects. I'll see you at E3!"

So it looks like we won't be getting a Gears of War collection anytime soon, but at least we're getting more of the franchise. Better yet, we're apparently going to hear about what's next at E3!

Also note that Fergusson mentioned the team is working on multiple projects. Hopefully that means we're getting more than just Gears 4 and a cheap mobile spin-off. Need I remind you of the disappointment that was Halo: Spartan Assault?
