Shadow of Mordor Wins GOTY at Game Developers Choice Awards

Monolith Productions' Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor​ was awarded Game of the Year at the 17th annual Game Developers Choice Awards.

Other nominees include Platinum Games' Bayonetta 2, Bungie's shared-world shooter Destiny, Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation, and Hearthstone from Blizzard. 

Additionally, the third episode of Kentucky Route Zero was recognized with the Best Narrative award, while Alien: Isolation took home Best Audio and Destiny scooped up the Best Technology award. For the full list of winners, you can watch the archived livestream on Twitch.

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows. Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
