Telltale Games' next major project won't be tied to an existing franchise, and apparently, this new project is quite a major undertaking for Telltale. In fact, CEO Kevin Bruner has gone so far as to say that it is the "most ambitious thing the company has ever done."
"It's something we're pouring a lot of love into," he told GamesIndustry in a recent interview. While Bruner couldn't provide any specific details on the upcoming game, he did emphasize the studio's commitment to creating an interesting narrative for players to be a part of, adding "we think about interactivity as a tool for storytelling."
Telltale Games is currently releasing new episodes for its Game of Thrones and Tales From the Borderlands series. It was also recently revealed that the studio is developing an adventure series tied to the Minecraft universe.
