Gold and Silver Mario Amiibo Coming?

In addition to a whole bunch of Super Smash Bros. figurines, Nintendo is releasing a separate line of amiibo tied to Mario Party 10. In addition to the likes of Bowser and Toad, this new set of NFC toys includes a classic Mario figure in a new pose. However, it looks like there may be even more to this line than just you're regular old Mario.

Over on Nintendo's support site, a NeoGAF user spotted gold and silver Mario amiibo figures.

 

Nintendo has yet to confirm whether or not it plans to release these figures to consumers, but I'm sure there are a lot of collectors out there just salivating over the prospect of owning these shiny toys.
