New Final Fantasy XV Footage in Type-0 Launch Trailer

It's been a great day for Japanese role-playing fans. Not only did Atlus blow our minds with an amazing gameplay reveal of Persona 5 this morning, Square Enix also released the launch trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which includes some new footage of Final Fantasy XV.

In addition, according to NeoGAF, game director Hajime Tabata confirmed that the Final Fantasy XV demo included with Type-0 will be playable on the very day the title releases. No waiting required. Whether or not that applies to those of us in the west remains to be seen, but have hope!

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD launches on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17. We still don't know when FFXV is expected to release, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for a 2015 launch.
