Nintendo's president suffered low health last year and says in new financial results that the company's Wii U console is down, but not out with new and currently unannounced software to come.
Nintendo Everything reports that a Japanese finance report allowed Satoru Iwata to inform fans that they should be excited for 2015's release calendar:
Wii U is not over yet. I want to continue to build on playing on people's high expectations [for the system].
NeoGAF has tracked down more information from a Nintendo financial meeting as well. Xenoblade Chronicles X allowed details including characters, the player's avatar, how the GamePad controller works, and online functionality gathered by the forum's users here.
Lengthy release date details have already been revealed for some games through the first five to six months of 2015, but even more games have been confirmed for 2015 in this list. Posted by NeoGAF user L~A, the list is divided into Japan, United States, and Europe with third-party software below that. More 3D Classics from Sega will also arrive on Nintendo 3DS eShop.
Additionally, the original article indicated that unannounced software remains under-wraps for 2015 and I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't find new Wii U bundles for the Spring quarter where it can compliment "New" Nintendo 3DS sales and that platform's growing release list.
