Gearbox May Have Details on a Third Borderlands Title at PAX South on Sunday

It appears that attendees that went to a Gearbox Q&A session today at the inaugural PAX South in San Antonio, Texas got a free peek at the proverbial cards in Gearbox's hand for their Borderlands panel on Sunday night. A fan asked if and when players could expect a possible “Borderlands 3.” Here's how it played out:

 

 

So there may be news after all about a new full title in the Borderlands series. Then again, this is Gearbox being discussed, and with their well-known sense of humor, we could see something like “Borderlands 1.75: The Post-Pre-Sequel!”

The time to speculate wildly is now, comrades, as the announcement will be made around 5pm Central time on Sunday at PAX South.
