A New Fire Emblem Is Coming to 3DS

A brand-new Fire Emblem game has just been announced for Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo president and CEO Satoru Iwata revealed the news during this morning's Nintendo Direct broadcast.

The game is being developed by the same team that did Fire Emblem: Awakening, which is heralded by many as one of the best games on Nintendo's handheld platform. Kozaki Yusuke is handling the character design, while Shin Kibayashi is writing the story.

We still don't know too much about the game, but we're sure to hear more from Nintendo in the months to come.
