Stardew Valley Linus Basket Location

Stardew Valley: Where to Find Linus Basket Location

During your first fall in Stardew Valley, you’ll get a quest to find Linus’ blackberry basket. Unfortunately, he doesn’t give you any hints as to its location. Fortunately, you’re not timed on this quest, so you can complete it long after fall is over.

Where to find Linus’ blackberry basket in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley Linus Basket Letter

You’ll get the quest to find Linus’ blackberry basket on Fall 8 of your first year. He’ll send you the following letter:

Hello,

It’s blackberry season right now. The bushes are full of them. I want to pick some, but I lost my basket. Can you help?

-Linus

Fortunately, there’s no time limit for finding Linus’ blackberry basket. In fact, you can go years without completing the quest, and you’ll still find the basket in the same place.

Stardew Valley Linus Basket Location Screen

Fortunately, it’s easy to get to the location where Linus lost his basket. To find it:

  1. Leave your farm via the eastern passage.
  2. On the next screen, head north until you see the bus.
  3. Walk along the road west until the screen switches.
  4. Look on the north side of the road just before the tunnel to find the basket.

Now, you just need to take the basket back to Linus to complete the quest. You’ll almost always find him near his tent near the entrance to the mines north of Robin’s house.

Unfortunately, Linus doesn’t have any grand reward for finding his blackberry basket in Stardew Valley. You’ll gain one heart of friendship, and that’s it.

The primary purpose of this quest is to inform you that blackberries have begun appearing. They’re available from Fall 8-11 and are an excellent free energy boost you can stock up on while leveling up your foraging skill.

Despite the lackluster reward, finding Linus’ blackberry basket in Stardew Valley enhances your connection with the game’s characters and environment. It serves as a gentle reminder of the seasonal changes within the valley, encouraging exploration and interaction with the world around you.
