Dragons Dogma 2 Eternal Ferrystone

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Is There an Eternal Ferrystone?

Fans of the franchise are wondering if there’s an Eternal Ferrystone in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This extremely useful item was first found in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen and allows for unlimited fast travel. Given how rare and expensive basic Ferrystones are, such an item would be incredibly useful.

Can you get an Eternal Ferrystone in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

As of launch, you can’t get an Eternal Ferrystone in Dragon’s Dogma 2. That’s not surprising, as the original game didn’t launch with this item either. Instead, it was added alongside the release of Dark Arisen. If Capcom adds an Eternal Ferrystone, it will likely be part of a future DLC.

However, the lack of an Eternal Ferrystone in Dragon’s Dogma 2 might not be a big issue. There is a way to farm regular Ferrystones, though it requires a lot of patience. Hobgoblins have a 4% chance to drop a Ferrystone upon death. If you play as a Mage or Sorcerer, you can easily kill them by the drove with fire spells. So, find a couple of groups close to each other, torch them, then wait for them to respawn and repeat.

While the Eternal Ferrystone is not available in the game at launch, this doesn’t diminish the game’s expansive and engaging experience. Exploring the game’s vast landscapes and uncovering its secrets on foot or with regular Ferrystones can be a rewarding journey in itself.

Stay tuned for updates from Capcom, as the addition of an Eternal Ferrystone in future DLC could change the way you traverse the game’s world. In the meantime, embrace the opportunity to delve deeper into the lore and environment of Dragon’s Dogma 2. Remember, each journey is an opportunity to strengthen your character and forge your path in this epic fantasy realm.
