The Monopoly Go Creative Accounting event has thankfully appeared once again with a brand new list of rewards that are up for grabs. After the generous Tax Refund event, this is one of the last chances to earn pickaxe tokens to finish off the Egyptian Treasures mini-game, where you can earn a scorpion shield skin and an Egyptian Cat token. Fans will be familiar with the event’s point table that awards 3 points for landing on Tax tiles (Income Tax and Luxury Tax) and 2 points for Utility spaces (Electric Company and Water Works). Creative Accounting will last only until November 17, 2023 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. There will be spots on the board where there is no chance that you will land on a utility or tax space. This is specifically States Avenue, Virginia Avenue, and Pennsylvania Railroad. On these spaces, we recommend that you keep your dice multiplier to a minimum so that you don’t waste dice. These four-tile events are brutal enough.
Since this event will run after the Egyptian Treasures event is over, it is most likely the case that the entries for pickaxe tokens above will be replaced with cash when that happens. So we recommend getting as far down the list as possible, up to the point that you complete every puzzle in the mini-game.
You may also want to wait a few hours until the Dog Show tournament is over. It’s likely that the new tourney will have more gifts and milestones that will have additional pickaxe tokens. Hopefully, you’ll have enough of them by tomorrow so that you can claim the gold chest in Egyptian Treasures. If you’ve already received it, though, then this new event is likely not worth the dice rolls and you should consider waiting for a better opportunity.
