The Monopoly Go Tax Refund event has been unveiled alongside the new global Egyptian Treasures mini-game. Unlike the Singles Nights event, this means that the list of rewards for this two-day event will come with a lot of extra Egyptian Treasure pickaxe tokens that you can use to unlock rewards. This time around, the Tax Refund event is very generous with event points, awarding 2 points for a Chance, 3 points for a Community Chest, and 5 points for a Railroad (regardless of whether you get a shutdown or heist). While it started a few hours early that normal, Tax Refund will end on November 15, 2023, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET according to the countdown timer. Given the high amount of points needed to get through all of the rewards, Monopoly Go expects you to accumulate them quickly in comparison to other main events. The last ten objectives in particular will be impossible to conquer unless you have a huge dice multiplier (with the High Roller glitch perhaps) and plenty of dice rolls to spare.
That said, the Egyptian Treasure mini-game is a great way to earn more dice rolls and sticker packs, so if you’ve been saving your dice haul for something special, this is a good time to start expending it. You’ll get enough free dice rolls back to break even more or less, so long as you can reach the final goal.
