However, astute players will pick up that there’s something special about all the deer head locations that Saga can interact with.

How to open Lodge Room 108 in Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake 2 Unlock room 108

To unlock Room 108 in the Lodge in Alan Wake 2, you’ll need to find all the deer heads in the game. There are 12 in total, and they’re scattered throughout the three primary locations that Saga visits. If you’ve missed any, you might have to spend some time backtracking. Fortunately, as long as you keep your eye out for them, the deer heads aren’t too hard to find.

Watery deer head locations

You’ll find four more deer heads in Watery:

  • Chapter: Return 3 – Suomi Hall: As soon as you make it to Watery, you can enter Suomi Hall. Look in the back to find a Break Room that contains this deer head.
  • Chapter: Return 3 – Lighthouse Trailer Park: Once you open up the trailer park, you can find this deer head in the trailer closest to the gate.
  • Chapter: Return 3 – Kalevala Knights Workshop: This deer head is located in the main shop area. It’s hard to miss.
  • Chapter: Return 3 – Ranger Station: When you make it back from the Overlap, the flood waters will recede from several areas. One of these is the Ranger Station north of Coffee World. Visit here to find a deer head.

What do you get for finding all the deer heads?

If you find all 12 deer heads in Alan Wake, which will be in Chapter: Return 5 at the earliest, you can return to the lodge to get your prize. You’ll see a deer at the end of the hallway when you approach the area containing the rooms, and you’ll notice it entering Room 108.

Now, you can enter Room 108 and gather some goodies like healing items and ammo. Unfortunately, that’s it for your loot. You won’t find any charms or juicy lore. You don’t even get a trophy or achievement.
