Spiderman 2 Fantastic 4 Building Location: How to Find the Baxter Building

The Spiderman 2 Fantastic 4 building is yet another peek into the grander Marvel universe. However, the game does not go out of its way to point this reference out to players. Here is how to find the Baxter Building (the Fantastic 4 building) in Spiderman 2.

To find the Fantastic 4 building in Spiderman 2, you will have to venture to Hell’s Kitchen, which is just southwest of Central Park. From there, go to the upper right corner of Hell’s Kitchen near Columbus Circle to the spot on the above map.

You will see the Baxter name on the side of the building. You can run up the building all the way to the top to see a work-in-progress version of the Fantastic 4 logo. There is no special dialogue or move associated with the Easter egg, unlike some of the other Marvel-related secrets.

This building was not always Baxter Building, as it was previously Fisk Tower in the 2018 Spiderman game. Fisk was taken into custody in the intro of that title, which set the stage for its transformation.

The Underground in Spiderman: Miles Morales had turned the elaborate but desolate building into their new hideout. It still has the Fisk branding on it in that spin-off, but is clearly in disarray. This then paved the way for the Fantastic 4 to get ahold of it, explaining why the logo on the top is not finished.

This is not the only reference to the Fantastic 4 in Spiderman 2. While the The Bombastic Bagman suit has not made its way into the sequel (yet, anyway), the New Blue Suit is a reference to what Peter Parker wore in Fantastic Four Vol. 6 #21. It is a blue suit, as the title implies, but has a small Fantastic 4-esque spider insignia in the center.
