The Alan Wake 2 rock rock tree puzzle solution requires players to carefully observe some of the many rocks and trees scattered around Cauldron Lake. This will open up a small cache of items with a tough combination lock on it that asks players if they are “bright enough.” Here’s how to get themath puzzle code in Alan Wake 2.
How to solve the math puzzle lock in Alan Wake 2
To get the rock rock tree code in Alan Wake 2, you are going to have to follow the very simple yet vague instructions on the box. Since there are two rocks and one tree in the small hint, that means that two rocks and one tree are going to be the key here. It is just down to finding the right rocks and the right tree.
The first clue for the box is so close to it that it is almost easy to miss. There is a “3 + 3” sign just above the box on a rock. Turning left reveals a tree that has “6 + 2” on it in yellow tape, which is another clear sign. There’s also a giant rock just in the small crevice below with “7 – 2,” the third clue for the locked box.
These are very simple math problems that have 6, 8, and 5 as numbers for the locked box. And since the code asks for the two rocks first, the first two numbers have to be 5 or 6 and the final one being 8. 658 is the actual unlock code, though. Punch that into the lock and it will open the box.
This box comes with some items like a flare, propane tank, and first aid kit. There are not any exclusive upgrades in here; just normal supplies.
