Alan Wake 2 Lady Fortuna Lock Code: How to Unlock the Shotgun

Alan Wake 2 General Store Shotgun Lock Code: Lady Fortuna Combo Solution

The Alan Wake 2 General Store lock code is one of the first puzzles that requires players to track down a combination and “check with Lady Fortuna at the counter.” This is in the convenience store in Cauldron Lake, which players will be escorted through during Saga’s main campaign. Here’s how to get the shotgun lock combo in Alan Wake 2.

How to get the shotgun lock combination in Alan Wake 2

To get the Lady Fortuna lock combo in the Cauldron Lake General Store in Alan Wake 2, you will have to carefully sift through the convenience store. As the note implies, you have to go to the counter for the first clue to the shotgun combo.

The clues are just at the register in the convenience store. You will be able to interact with a lotto card and a rolodex. Ignore the rolodex because it is a red herring and focus on the lotto numbers.

The notepad has the 705, 713, 717, and 723 scribbled out and the lotto numbers 05 13 17 12 39 45. And since the former numbers are scribbled out, it lets you know that those are wrong. So with that logic, 05, 13, and 17 are not the right answers, leaving just 12, 39, and 45 as possibilities.

And since it seems like the code has to have a 7 in front of it (a lucky number that is seemingly a nod to “Lady Fortuna), that leaves 712, 739, and 745 as possibilities. While not specific, that is not a lot of combinations to try.

After learning this, go back to the lock and punch in 739. This will unlock the lock and open up the small case with the sawn-off shotgun for Saga. Be sure to add it to a quick slot in the inventory menu for quick access, as it is not done automatically.
