Spider-Man 2 Boat Puzzle: How to Collect Sonic Elements

The Spider-Man 2 boat puzzle during the “Trouble With Harry” mission is not the typical Spidey fare, as it is not just about punching bad guys and swinging around New York City. It asks players to “collect sonic elements” or “locate resonant objects,” which are not the most obvious directions. Here is how to solve the boat puzzle in Spider-Man 2.

To solve the boat puzzle in Spider-Man 2 during the “Trouble With Harry” mission, you will have to do some scanning first. Scan the big hangar next to the boat. Wait for the little bar to fill up and then jump down from the light post. Scan the hanging container that Miles was just above for the second part. Then scan the boat in that harbor. You will have to be a little precise for this one.

Now that you have the objects scanned, jump onto the boat with the bell near the hangar and go to the generator that’s in the middle of the craft. Use a Venom Punch on it to power it up after getting the prompt. This will cause the boat to shoot forward and the bell to ring.

Fight and defeat the enemies that it summons (pull the bell on the boat with L1 and R1 for an advantage during combat). After that, go back to the container you scanned earlier and pull it down using L1 and R1. This will create the second sound needed for the mission.

You will be guided to gather a helicopter noise after. Glide up to it and hit the Triangle button when prompted. Move Miles up to the rotor and he will automatically get the third and final sound after a few seconds. Doing this will complete this part of the mission.
