You’ll need the Cerberus Decoded Behavioral System Component in Cyberpunk 2077 to craft two powerful pieces of gear. However, it’s extremely easy to miss the prerequisite item required to obtain it. Additionally, when you get the Behavioral System Component, it’ll still be encrypted, and you must complete a side job to decrypt it and make it usable.
Where to find the Cerberus Decoded Behavioral System Component in Cyberpunk 2077
There’s only one opportunity to get the Cerberus Decoded Behavior System Component in Cyberpunk 2077. To do so, you’ll need to start by siding with Reed during the Phantom Liberty DLC main mission, “Firestarter.” Doing so will take you down the mission path leading to the main jobs, “Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos” and “Somewhat Damaged.”
During “Somewhat Damaged,” you’ll find yourself in Militech’s Cynosure Facility. As you search for Songbird, she’ll send a Cerberus robot to hunt you down. It’s impervious to regular weapons fire, so you’re forced to run and hide from it.
Eventually, you’ll reach the Core, where Songbird is located. Once you gain access to it, the Cerebrus will make one more attempt to kill you. After some exposition, you’ll find the robot has been disabled, and you can pick up the Behavioral System Component from its lifeless shell.
MAKE SURE TO PICK UP THE BEHAVIORAL SYSTEM COMPONENT NOW. YOU CANNOT RETURN TO DO SO LATER.
Now, complete the mission and let the credits roll, and you’ll find yourself back on the streets. A lot of people will be hitting you up in the aftermath of the Dogtown incident, including an Unknown Number that asks you to go see a netrunner who will decrypt a chipset for you. Agree, and “This Corrosion” side job will begin. Complete it, and you’ll get the Cerberus Decoded Behavioral System Component
