Cyberpunk 2077 House on a Hill bug fix

Cyberpunk 2077 House on a Hill Bug: How to Fix and Complete the Cyberpsycho Gig

There’s a bug in the Cyberpunk 2077 Gig, “House on a Hill,” that’s seemingly gone unfixed since the game was released. Many players find the Cyberpsycho Sighting impossible to finish because they can’t complete the “search the area to collect info” objective. Fortunately, this bug, which is still in the game as of update 2.0, has a fix.

How to fix “House on a Hill” bug in Cyberpunk 2077

When passing through the East Badlands in Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll get a call from Regina Jones asking you to investigate a potential cyberpsycho sighting in the area. This starts the potentially bugged “House on a Hill” gig.

There are four objectives to complete in House on a Hill:

  • Find the Cyberpsycho
  • Neutralize the threat
  • Search the area to collect information
  • Message Regina

It’s the third objective, “search the area to collect information,” that won’t complete for many players. However, this part of the quest isn’t bugged; you’re just given poor instructions concerning what you need to do.

To complete “Cyberpsycho Sighting: House on a Hill,” you need to find two shards:

  • “I knew this would happen!”
  • “Don’t Come”

Once you take down Russell Greene, the Cyberpsycho, you can loot him to find the “I knew this would happen!” shard. Then, search nearby to find Natasha Greene. You can loot the “Don’t Come” shard from her body. If either shard is missing, then you’ll need to reload a previous save and try again.

Once you have the two shards, the “search the area to collect information” objective should be completed. Then you just need to message Regina to finish out the gig.

After messaging Regina, she will respond with gratitude for your efforts in handling the situation and also provide insights about the cyberpsycho incident. It’s crucial to always check the detailed items you loot, especially in Cyberpsycho Sighting missions. Missing shards or items can often lead to confusion among players.
