Lies of P Quartz Locations Find Quartz

Lies of P Quartz Locations: Where to Find Quartz

You need Quartz in Lies of P to upgrade your P-Organ. The P-Organ upgrades are some of the most useful in the game, but unlike common items, Quartz don’t drop just anywhere, and they can’t be farmed. Instead, you’ll find 24 of them in set locations throughout the game. Obtaining all of them unlocks the Extreme Potential trophy or achievement.

Lies of P Quartz Locations List

Our list of Lies of P Quartz locations is sorted into roughly chronological order. You’re best off getting these as early as possible because backtracking to gather them is a pain. However, none of them are missable as far as we can tell, so don’t stress if you’ve passed one up. Note that we’ll be referring to each Quartz location by the name of the nearest Stargazer, but some of them require you to go a bit out of the way to find.

1. Workshop Union Entrance

Fight the Puppet of the Future that’s stomping around to get this Quartz. Note that you can drain the corruption in the area by seeking out two nearby cranks, making this fight much easier.

2. Workshop Union Culvert

Make sure to answer the telephone near the Workshop entrance and answer the King of Riddles’ question correctly to get the Trinity Key. Now, explore past the tunnel with the rolling fireball and head down the hallway to find Black Cat and Red Fox. Keep going past them, and you’ll find a big red pipe. Turn right there and look for a green door with the Trinity symbol you can unlock with the Trinity Key. Rip the safe open inside to get this piece of Quartz.

3. St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel/Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard

Climb to the top of the room with the spinning cogs and then push the brazier near the two gaps you need to jump over off the edge. It’ll drop down to the bottom of the room and burn away all the Decay-causing goop at the bottom. Now, return to the bottom of the room, and you’ll find a new passage leading downward to a room with a chest.

Inside the chest, you’ll find a Cryptic Vessel. Take it to Hotel Krat and have Venigni decrypt it to get a clue. Now, head to the House on Elysion Boulevard and take the elevator down. Proceed down the street toward Krat City Hall, and you’ll spot the hanging puppet mentioned in the clue. Fling something at it, and another clue will drop. Now, return back to the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard Stargazer and head onto the roof. Nearby are two enemies; you’ll want to kill them and look to where the one was hidden to find the door to 221b Elysion Boulevard. You can unlock the door and enter to find a safe that contains a piece of Quartz.

4. St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel

After you jump through across the two gaps in the cog room, you’ll see a door straight ahead. Go through it and prepare for a miniboss to drop down when you approach the corpse with an item. Kill it to get another piece of Quartz.

5. Malum District

Proceed until you find the square that’s packed with enemies. You’ll know you’re in the right place because it has several of the annoying Decay-throwing enemies high up where they’re hard to reach. You’ll find this Quartz in a building nearby.

6. Malum District Town Hall

Kill the Eldest of the Black Rabbit and then head into their hideout. You’ll find the chest containing this Quartz behind the counter.

7. Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert

Drop down into the sewers and go straight at the fork. Watch for another hole you can jump down and get ready to make a falling attack on the enemy below you. Then, follow the pipe until you find the chest containing a Quartz piece.

8. Hotel Krat

Before you can get this piece of Quartz, you’ll need to find the Strudy Krat Supply Box at the Grand Exhibition Gallery. Luckily, it’s easy to find. Just look for the chest near the ladder shortcut that leads back to the Grand Exhibition Hall Stargazer.

Once you have the Sturdy Krat Supply Box, go to Hotel Krat and give it to Polendina. Then, you can buy this piece of quarts from him.

9. Estella Opera House Entrance

This one requires another Trinity Key, which you won’t have the first time you head through the Opera House. Instead, you’ll need to wait until you make it to the Grand Exhibition Gallery. It’s hard to miss the telephone since it’s on the path you need to take to continue through the game. You’ll get a clue leading to two statues downstairs when you answer the riddle. You’ll need to move one of them to match the other one, and it’ll open a compartment containing the Trinity Key.

Once you have the key, head back to the Estella Opera House Entrance Stargazer and go to the room with the big chandelier. You can then drop down to find the Trinity door. Unlock it and smash the safe inside to grab this Quartz.

10. Barren Swamp

Getting this Quartz is easy. Talk to the Broken Puppet and make the gestures he wants to see. After you complete the task, he’ll give you a piece of Quartz.

13. Krat Central Station Platform

You can drop down near this Stargazer to find a chest containing Quartz. However, the area is filled with Decay, so be prepared to handle that.

14. Hotel Krat

You’ll need to upgrade Polendina’s shop again to buy this Quartz. If you haven’t found the Special Krat Supply Box yet, head to the Collapsed Workshop Tower Stargazer. From there, proceed through the area until you see a puppet that spits fire. Kill it and the swordsman puppets in the house after it, and look for a second fire-spitting puppet. Take it out and look for a chest nearby containing the Special Krat Supply Box.

Once you have the box, give it to Polendina. He’ll then expand his shop and sell you another Quartz.

15. Barren Swamp Bridge

Talk to Explorer Hugo nearby until he gives you the Old Cryptic Vessel. Then, take it to Venigni in Hotel Krat so that he can decrypt it. Now, go to the Path of the Pilgrim Stargazer and look for a house you can enter nearby. Ride the elevator inside down, and then go up the hill to find the Slum Resident. He’ll give you the Robber’s Shack Key, which you can use to open the nearby building. Inside is a chest with a piece of Quartz.

16. Hermit’s Cave

Once you give Polendinia the Special Krat Supply Box, you can buy the Rust Cryptic Vessel from him. Have Venigni decode it, then return to the Barren Swamp Bridge Stargazer. You’ll notice the gate that Hugo was standing near is now open. Now, you can pass through to enter Hermit’s Cave. All you have to do to find the Quartz now is make it to the end of the cave and smash open a safe.

17. Krat Central Station Street

Take down the Corrupted Parade Master, and he’ll drop a Quartz.

18. Relic of Trismegistus Entrance

Defeat the Black Rabbit Brotherhood once again to get a piece of Quartz.

19. Arche Abbey Outer Wall

Before you can reach this one, you’ll have to solve the King of Riddle’s last puzzle near the Krat Central Station Street Stargazer. Doing so will give you the Trinity Key you need to access this room.

To find the last Trinity Sanctum, head through the Arche Abbey Outer Wall until you find a room with two beams in the middle. You’ll need to reach the bottom floor of this room to find the Trinity Sanctum. Once you get there, you’ll speak with someone. Regardless of whether you tell the truth or lie, you’ll get the Quartz.

20. Arche Abbey Broken Rift

Defeat the large Pinocchio toy to get this Quartz.

21. Arche Abbey Broken Rift

Past the Pinocchio toy, you’ll find an area with two large swordsmen. After defeating them, look for a ladder you can descend. Once you do so, look for a path filled with traps. If you get through them, beware of the foe toting the Gatling gun. Finally, you’ll find this Quartz in a chest past that enemy.

22. Arche Abbey Broken Rift/Abandoned Apartment

When you get to the foggy area in Arche Abbey Broken Rift, there’ll be a ladder you can climb. At the top is a fork with an enemy on the left. Ignore that path and go straight to find another enemy guarding a chest. Open it up, and you’ll find the Mechanical Cryptic Vessel. Before heading out, make sure to use the Reborn Champion’s Ergo to grab the Frozen Feast Special Weapon.

You know the drill. Take the cryptic vessel to Venigni at Hotel Krat and get it decoded. Now, go to the Abandoned Apartment Stargazer. Make your way up the stairs, then use the sign to cross over, but don’t head through the gate. Instead, you’ll want to look for the small rock ledge you can use to skirt the chasm. After reaching the end, you need to head right onto the street and hang a left. Then, look for some staircases in the distance to climb. At the top of the stairs, equip Frozen Feast and then talk to the Wandering Merchant to receive a piece of Quartz.

This Quartz is easy to find. Just listen for the obnoxious screaming enemy and kill it. There’s a chest behind it that contains this item.
