Remnant 2 Fae Council Quest

Remnant 2 Fae Council Secret Quest: Who Is The Traitor?

The Remnant 2 Fae Council secret quest or event requires investigation in figuring out who the traitor is. This task has you accept a mission from the Fae council members in Losomn to uncover who among them was the conspirator who killed the One True King. The quest has you locate the throne room of the king while gathering evidence on the assassin. However, it’s not obvious who the traitor is and the quest can have some randomized elements, so the answer is not so straightforward that you can just find the solution on the internet. You can also accuse the wrong council member and be forced to fight them. Here’s how to figure out who the traitor is on the Fae Council in Remnant 2.

How to figure out the Remnant 2 Fae Council traitor

The key to figuring out who the traitor is in the Fae Council quest is to interact with the Assassin’s Dagger that you find at the end of the questline.

If you rotate the Assassin’s Dagger around so that you can see the bottom of the hilt, you’ll find an emblem with a specific color. When you return to the Fae Council chamber, you’ll note that the three council members — Savan, Oniril, or Nyele — are sitting on thrones that have an emblem beneath them. From there, you can match the dagger’s emblem to the member you need to accuse.

For selecting the right council members as the traitor, you will earn the Ornate Blade, described as an elongated sword that deals 52 damage, has a 11% critical hit chance, and 105% weak spot damage.

That said, you can deliberately accuse the wrong council member if you want and refuse to provide proof for your accusations. This leads to a fight against all three members where you can instead earn a Fae Protector Signet ring. This increases your max health by 10 and reduces your encumbrance by 5, so you may want to kill the council on purpose if you think it’s worth it.
