CoD MW2 The Boys Temp V Superpowers

CoD MW2 The Boys: What Are The Temp V Field Upgrade Superpowers?

The CoD MW2 The Boys crossover is coming with a new Temp V Field Upgrade that grants special superpowers to operators in Season 4 Reloaded. It can be a bit confusing how to use Temp V or even what it is. The superpowers that this strange serum gives are also randomized, so it can be difficult to figure out what they do at first and how to defend yourself against them. Temp V will be available for all Warzone playlists, including DMZ, but won’t be accessible in Ranked Play. Here’s a breakdown of all the Temp V superpowers that will be added in Call of Duty MW2 Season 4 Reloaded.

What does Call of Duty MW2 Temp V do?

Temp V is a field upgrade that gives you one of four random superheroes when it is consumed, as described below:

  • Electric Shockwave – This super-EMP blast creates an electrical explosion that damages everything within a radius, including operators, AI combatants, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Laser Vision – Like Homelander’s power, this will allow your character to levitate and fire laser eye beams that obliterates enemy targets.
  • Charge Jump – This jump allows an operator to vault in the air and land, dealing splash damage to everything around. You also don’t take falling damage so you can use it to jump from any height.
  • Teleport – This is a very useful ability that can help you escape or advance toward an enemy.

The superpower that the Temp V grants your character needs to be used before death. Otherwise, like a normal field upgrade, it is lost. Also, picking up a field upgrade while you have a superpower will replace it, so you need to be strategic with how and when you use it.

In the Amazon Prime show The Boys, Temp V is a modified version of Compound V, a serum that gives a regular person temporary superpowers. You can also claim Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir in operator bundles available throughout the month of July.

The Temp V field upgrade will last until the end of Season 4 Reloaded. It will drop in DMZ, but it will be rarer than in standard Battle Royale modes.
