The Six Days in Fallujah campaign release date is coming soon according to the developers. At the moment, the game is available on PC via Steam Early Access but the story-based campaign is still locked. The developer Highware Games is not yet ready to release the first campaign mission for the game, though it currently includes four co-operative four-player missions. Fortunately, the developer has provided a tentative roadmap for when it expects to add each planned feature of the game, including the console release date. Here’s when the campaign will no longer be locked in Six Days in Fallujah.
What is the Six Days in Fallujah campaign release date?
The Six Days in Fallujah campaign release date is Q1 2024, somewhere between January and March 2023, on Steam Early Access.
This is based on the early access roadmap as provided by Highwire Games on the game’s official blog on Steam. Along with the first story campaign mission, the developer plans to add civilians in co-op and campaign, as well as an additional co-op mission during Q1 2024.
Before the campaign arrives, the developer hopes to provide night-time missions, more weather variations and AI teammates. Once it does arrive, the developer plans on giving more co-op and story campaign missions, special Operator missions, and the ability to play as other coalition nationalities. As revealed on the support page of the game’s official website, the full release will have players able to play as “an unarmed Iraqi father to get his family out of the city during certain mission.”
In fact, Highwire Games anticipated players questioning why the campaign wasn’t included at launch in Early Access by providing a response in an FAQ. Instead of the campaign, it wanted to build the “co-op simulation sandbox first, because it’s the foundation of [its] technology.” It also wanted to focus on the teammate AI before it’s ready to release its first campaign mission.
