The Six Days in Fallujah console release date for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One is something fans want to know about. Otherwise known as 6 Days in Fallujah, the game has finally released on PC in Steam Early Access on June 22, but many players are wondering whether it will be making its way to consoles. Some may remember that Konami first revealed Six Days in Fallujah in 2009, but the publisher dropped the game after controversy emerged due to the game’s premise being based on an actual battle in 2004. Highwire Games then announced in February 2021 that it would be taking over development of the game. Here’s when Six Days in Fallujah is expected to arrive on console.
What is the Six Days in Fallujah release date on PS5, PS4, and Xbox?
The Six Days in Fallujah release date on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One consoles is 2024, and likely the last half of 2024.
The 2024 date comes straight from developer Highwire Games and publisher Victura in a press release. Furthermore, based on the FAQ for the game’s official website, the developers plan to release the game on “current and next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft.” This could mean that they plan on releasing the game on next Xbox and PlayStation console.
The Support page on the website also reveals that the developers plan for the game to be in Steam Early Access “for a little more than a year.” This suggests that Highwire Games won’t be done adding everything in its roadmap for the game until June 2023 and likely past that. That’s why we project that Late 2024 is the most likely release date for the game’s official release.
On top of that, the developer also says that it will be bringing Six Days of Fallujah to Xbox and PlayStation and Xbox consoles “simultaneously” with the game’s full release. It is already “very far” in console development and wants to remind players that a few members of the team “were instrumental in creating Halo on Xbox.”
