Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Valor Island Location: How to Obtain Glider Mask

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Valor Island location can be tricky to find and to reach. But if you’re looking for the Glider Mask as part of the Glider armor set or if you want to locate the Sihajog Shrine, you’ll need to head to Valor Island. Fortunately, this island in the sky isn’t too difficult to reach, but there are several ways to get there. Here’s how to reach Valor Island in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to get to Valor Island in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Valor Island in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is located at around coordinates 4544, -845, 1121 and can be reached by heading to Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.

From the top of this tower, you have a choice to make. You can use either the paraglider or a sky vehicle to reach the lowermost cluster of islands that make up Valor island. For the paraglider, you’ll need a lot of stamina or enough stamina-restoring foods to make it to Valor Island without falling. Or you can use the paraglider trick and use the Wing Zonai Device so that you can avoid using stamina altogether. Another neat trick is to use the wind gust from the Vow of Tulin, if you have already completed the Wind Temple, to get you there faster.

For the flying vehicle, there are several islands between the tower and Valor Island that you can glide to that actually have flying vehicles that are already pre-built. So you can glide toward the first island located around coordinates 3959, -1032, 1359 to claim the vehicle before heading to the nearby island to east for another vehicle. It’s up to you whether it’s worth island-hopping toward Valor Island like this, as this is the scenic route in this instance.

When you finally reach Valor Island, you can talk to the Steward Construct near the pool to start the Dive Ceremony. This tests your navigating skills as you dive from the top of the island through green rings towards the bottom. Completing this challenge will activate Sihajog Shrine and allow you to grab the Glide Mask as well as a diamond as a reward, which you can sell or keep for armor upgrades.
