Resident Evil 4 remake Hunk S Plus Plus guide

Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries Hunk S++ Guide

Hunk is the easiest character to get S++ with in Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries. He’s incredibly OP, and his insta-kill melee ability paired with the LE 5’s staggering power is ridiculous. Even so, figuring out the best way to use his impressive skills can be tricky.

How to get S++ with Hunk in Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries

Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries Hunk inventory

To get an S++ rank with Hunk in Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries, you’ll need to set three objectives:

  • Kill 150 enemies.
  • Don’t die.
  • Keep your combo going.

If you can make it to the end of a round and accomplish the above goals, you’ll get an S++.

RE4 remake Mercenaries: Hunk’s loadout

At the beginning of each round of Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries, Hunk starts with:

  • LE 5
  • Boot Knife x1
  • First Aid Spray x1
  • Hand Grenades x3

There’s only one tactic you need with Hunk:

  • Use the LE 5 to stagger enemies by aiming at their legs or head.
  • Then, perform a melee when they’re stunned.

Hunk’s unique melee is just him getting behind a foe and snapping their neck. It is a one-hit kill when performed on any enemy, including bosses like the Chainsaw Man and Chainsaw Sisters. The LE 5 is so good at staggering that you can pretty much run circles around an area, snapping necks at your leisure.

The only time you have something to worry about when playing as Hunk in RE4 remake is when facing ranged enemies. The LE 5 isn’t very accurate at long range. However, his Mayhem Mode gives him unlimited ammo, so you can activate it and mow down foes whenever needed,
