Wild Hearts PS5 Performance Mode HDR Glitch Fix

A Wild Hearts PS5 Performance Mode HDR glitch is reportedly giving many players problems, Luckily, there is a simple fix that resolves these problems as a temporary solution, and Koei Tecmo promises a performance patch and future updates that will solve these errors permanently. But until that happens, here is a workaround for these Wild Hearts technical issues on PS5.

How to fix Wild Hearts PS5 performance mode and HDR glitches

Currently, the only fixes for Performance Mode and HDR glitches for Wild Hearts are to switch to Resolution Mode and turn HDR off.

Users on the official Wild Hearts Reddit report that HDR is causing graphical glitches on PS5. In fact, the game doesn’t seem to be using the HDR color scheme at all. At the moment, a Koei Tecmo developer admits that it is concentrating on the performance issues with the PC build (as well they should), as they can “get those patches out the door the quickest.”

An announcement on February 16 from Koei Tecmo reveals that a patch for all platforms will go live the following week. It will fix a rare PS5 crash when booting the game and audio de-sync issues, and provide additional stability and bug fixes. The bulk of this update will focus on PC issues, though, which likely means that any patches for HDR and performance mode on PS5 won’t be addressed until afterwards.
