Grounded is due to leave Early Access and Game Preview incredibly soon and will include a fully playable campaign as part of its update. With over 10 million players that have already ventured into the garden wilderness during the Early Access period, there will be more than a few players wondering when they can get into version 1.0, so here’s our guide to the Grounded full version release date and time for all regions.
When is the Grounded 1.0 release date and time?
The Grounded version 1.0 release date and time is on September 27, 2022, at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Windows Store and Steam. Version 1.0 will also be available in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The release time is the same for all regions on that day, so this is how it will convert in your region:

The new content included in version 1.0
Grounded version 1.0 will include all of the game’s previous 12 updates it received during its Early Access / Game Preview phase but will also add some new content. This includes a fully playable campaign that will explain how the shrunken teenagers ended up in the garden, including meeting the mad scientist behind everything. The campaign can be played solo or with friends.
The new Upper Yard area will also become accessible and will include a new Mantis boss that has been “constantly requested by our incredible community”. There will also be new armor and weapon recipes, as well as plenty of other secrets developer Obsidian Entertainment didn’t want to spoil ahead of the update’s release.
