Xbox Game Pass September 2022 Wave 2 Headlined by Deathloop

September 2022 concludes with a larger number of games appearing for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in wave 2, with ten games confirmed to be joining the service. Between the new titles, nine games will be heading to consoles, nine will be heading to PC, and eight of them will be arriving on the Xbox cloud gaming service too.

The arrival of the new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate September 2022 wave 2 games begins today, September 20, as Deathloop arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud following a year of exclusivity on PS5 consoles. Hardspace: Shipbreaker also makes its debut on Xbox Series X|S and cloud today, having already been available on PC Game Pass since May. The remaining eight games will arrive on different platforms throughout the month. The list includes:

September 22

  • Beacon Pines (Console, PC, and Cloud)
  • Slime Rancher 2 Game Preview (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud)
  • SpiderHeck (Console and PC)

September 27

  • Grounded v1.0 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
  • Moonscars (Console, PC, and Cloud)

September 29

  • Let’s Build a Zoo (Console, PC, and Cloud)
  • Valheim Game Preview (PC)

September 30

  • PAW Patrol Grand Prix (Console, PC, and Cloud)

Three more Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks have been announced for the rest of the month too. The Deathloop Hunting Pack is available from tomorrow, September 21, while the Super Animal Royale: Season 5 Perks Pack is released on September 27. Next month on October 6, players can also look forward to the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Kronos Pack.

Microsoft also announced touch controls for nine more games played through Xbox Cloud Gaming. Grounded v1.0 will get touch controls on September 27, while the following eight games all have touch controls now:

  • Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition
  • Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered
  • Road 96
  • Shadowrun Returns
  • Shadowrun: Dragonfall
  • Shadowrun: Hong Kong
  • This War of Mine
  • Torment: Tides of Numenera

Finally, with the good news comes the bad news. There are 12 games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 30, so be sure to finish these off quickly if you’re in the middle of a playthrough:

  • AI: The Somnium Files (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Astria Ascending (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Dandy Ace (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Dirt 4 (PC) EA Play
  • Dirt Rally (PC) EA Play
  • Going Under (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Lemnis Gate (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Slime Rancher (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Subnautica: Below Zero (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • The Procession to Calvary (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Unsighted (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Visage (Cloud, Console, and PC)

In other news, the EVGA Nvidia partnership is ending due to the companies’ souring relationship. Elsewhere, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 UI has been criticized by players taking part in the beta.
