The full Trombone Champ song list features 25 songs, which are all royalty-free. This makes sense for an indie game on Steam, though with all the attention developer Holy Wow is getting, they might have the cash for licensed music in the future. Most of the songs on the current list are older classics, but the distorted toots of the trombone will transform them into tunes that are absolutely hilarious.

Holy Wow has confirmed in its Update Roadmap for the game that they’ll be adding more songs to this list in batches of about three songs in each upcoming phase. They have also said on Steam that that after a few updates are finished, it intends to add the ability for players to perform custom songs. (I think that the “classic” Kirby Snoop Dogg remix would be perfect.)
How to unlock new songs in Trombone Champ
It’s a bit hidden, but all you need to do is to head to the Collection page. There’s a little candle located near the lower-right corner that you can click on. This will allow you to trade in toots you’ve collected throughout the game for unlockable songs.
