The Quordle 181 answer for July 24, 2022 has been uncovered. While today’s puzzle is not as difficult as yesterday’s, though not many will top that one really, this Quordle today isn’t easy either. Three of the words in the solution have a double letter, and for as long as we’ve been doing these guides, we don’t believe we’ve seen any of these words before.
Luckily, apart from one very rare consonant, most of the letters are common. However, this can work against you since the number of possibilities increases with more common letters. The most challenging word would be the one in the lower-left corner. If you need a hint, it’s typically used in professional kitchens when making soups. Looking for the full solution? What is Quordle answer 181? (July 24, 2022)
The Quordle answer 181 is:
- “DITTY”
- “CHUTE”
- “SIEVE”
- “ADAPT”
With the double “E” vowel and rare “V” consonant, “SIEVE” is the toughest to figure out. By clearing all of the typical consonants and vowels at the beginning of the puzzle, which is part of the usual strategy for Quordles, you’ll get the “S,” “I,” and “E.” This doesn’t really give a lot of information, so guessing the rare “V” consonant is probably not the first thing you’ll think about. In fact, we left this word until the end to solve.
“ADAPT” is somewhat hard as well, again due to the double vowel but also because of the “PT” combo that is not usually seen. By comparison, “DITTY” and “CHUTE” shouldn’t be too difficult depending on which words you use to clear the common consonants at the start. We have words that include the “H” and “C” so “CHUTE” was solved rather easily. We also got the “D” in yellow, so it wasn’t a stretch to think that the letter was somewhere else in “DITTY.”
In other news, the new Pokemon Pikachu plushy at Build A Bear comes in two colors, and Ubisoft has canceled Splinter Cell VR, Ghost Recon Frontline, and two unannounced games.
