Though there isn’t yet a concrete PlayStation release date, developer Digital Cybercherries has all but confirmed that the toy-soldier shooter will be coming to PS5 and PS4.
Posting to Twitter on the game’s official account, the developer began “Yo, PlayStation players” before asking “If my game launched on PS4/PS5, would you play it with your squad?” Then, in response to a troll attempt from someone saying how “multiplayer games are way too complicated for most of the PlayStation community,” the dev responded with “We’ll see about that.

With the game now confirmed to be coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One at some point, it seems to be only a matter of time before the PlayStation version is confirmed.
In addition to teasing a PS5 and PS4 version, the developer also mentioned “cross-play,” which is now also likely to be added further down the line.
Having already launched on PC and Nintendo Switch, and receiving many patches that added polish and extra content to the game, Hypercharge: Unboxed is now coming to Xbox and, in all likelihood, PS5 and PS4.
