It’s expected that many players would be asking about Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes endgame content, as many musou spin-offs usually have some kind of post game content too. And luckily, Three Hopes doesn’t disappoint as there is plenty of content that becomes available after you’re done with the game. Notably, this includes New Game Plus, Maddening Difficulty, and several unlockable characters and equipment.
What unlocks in the Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes endgame?
New Game Plus
Once you complete Three Hopes on any difficulty setting, you’ll gain access to New Game Plus. So long as you have a save with finished progress, a pop-up will appear if you select the New Game option that asks if you want to carry over your progress.
While many features won’t transfer over, like the Merc Whistle, character roster, and various camp facilities, much of your progress will. This includes any items, gold, camp facility upgrades, and class levels. You also have the option to bring over your character levels and support levels too, though we suspect that you won’t want to lose all those experience points.
Maddening Difficulty
Also upon completing the game on any difficulty, regardless of whether you chose Classic or Casual mode, you’ll unlock Maddening. As the name implies, this is one step higher than Hard. Those of you who have finished Three Hopes on Hard will generally understand what this new difficulty setting entails. In general, here’s what to expect on Maddening:
- Enemies are will hit harder and have higher defense stats, especially any enemies who are named or ranked
- Warrior Gauge and Awakening Gauge may build even slower
- Normal grunts are more aggressive and disrupt your combos more often
- Enemies start at Level 100 when you gain control of facilities
Unlockable Characters and Equipment
If you head to the Personal Quarters in New Game Plus or completed save file, you can unlock Rhea, Sothis, and Arval (only if you recruited Byleth) for 60 Renown each. New equipment like the Sublime Creator Sword and Dark Creator Sword will be available in the Purchase Equipment screen too. You can also obtain Crest Accessories which grants a character a specific Crest Ability which can be used as a lower rate than normal.
