Unlike many games in the series, Pokemon Legends Arceus allows players to catch all the starters. That means players can find the location of Cyndaquil and catch it. However, it’ll take a while before the chance to capture it appears if trainers don’t choose it as a starter.
How to find the location of Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends Arceus
The easiest way to get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends Arceus is to choose it as a starter. If so, the Pokemon will be a trainer’s faithful friend throughout the game. Those who do choose Cyndaquil as a starter can still catch more of them later in the game.
The location where Cyndaquil appears in the wild doesn’t appear until players reach three-star rank. After doing so, players can begin visiting Space-Time Distortions to obtain rare items and Pokemon. Inside distortions in the Mirelands, players can catch Cyndaquil.
Alternatively, at the conclusion of the story, players get a chance to pick a second starter Pokemon from Professor Laventon. If they desire, trainers can choose Cyndaquil here.
Of course, Cyndaquil is an excellent fire-type, and many players will want it on their team for that reason. It’s also a gen two starter, so many trainers will feel nostalgic toward the Pokemon. Fortunately, it’s not all that hard to get, and the biggest hurdle is waiting for a Space-Time Distortion to appear in the Mirelands so players can go catch it.
Like the other two starters, Cyndaquil’s second evolution, Typhlosion, gets a brand-new Hisuian form for this game with the interesting Fire/Ghost typing. This gives Hisuian Typholosion some unique utility and avoids any double weaknesses. It’s one of the strongest non-legendary or noble Pokemon in the game, and players should definitely consider adding it to their team alongside the other two starter evolutions.
