The Wordle answer 202 is “SLUMP.”
“Slump” is used to describe a fall, a slouching sitting position, or when someone is not being productive.
While I normally recommend starting with “ROATE” as it has the most common letters, the Wordle January 7 answer doesn’t actually use any of these letters. This leads to zero hits, which was admittedly a little horrifying to see!
Next up, it’s time to try and secure the number of “S” letters, along with the remaining vowels, “U” and “I.” Today’s word has one “U.”
From there, there are some common consonants to try. My process went “ROATE,” “SUITS,” “SHUCK,” “SPUNK,” “WELDS,” and finally “SLUMP.”
For me, it took six whole guesses to finally land on SLUMP, meaning I found it very tough. If you didn’t manage to work it out for yourself, don’t worry, as there’s always tomorrow’s word.
