Inscryption is taking the PC platform by storm right now, quickly becoming one of the best-selling games on Steam. It’s a surreal and spooky card battler, which is something new, to say the least. With Halloween fast approaching, many console players are hoping to play the game on their platform of choice. Are Inscryption PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and OLED model ports on the way? Here’s the latest on an Inscryption console version release date.
Are Inscryption PS5 and PS4 versions coming out?
Inscryption is out now on PC, following its October 19 2021 launch. Currently, there isn’t any news on an Inscryption PlayStation release date for PS5 and PS4 consoles.
While there’s seemingly no Inscryption console release on the cards right now, that doesn’t rule it out as a future possibility. Daniel Mullins is a solo developer, so it makes sense that there isn’t a unified launch across multiple formats. With the game performing incredibly well on Steam, however, it’d make sense for Mullins to pursue console ports at this stage.
Are Inscryption Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One versions coming out?
Inscryption is a PC exclusive game, available to purchase as of its October 19 2021 release date. There have been no announcements regarding an Inscryption Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One launch.
Although Inscryption is a solo project, Devolver Digital is the popular card games’ publisher. Devolver is no stranger to releasing games on Xbox and other console platforms, which could increase the likelihood of a future port. With the PC version doing so well, it’d seemingly make sound business sense.
Is an Inscryption Nintendo Switch version coming out?
Inscryption came out for PC on October 19, 2021. There isn’t an Inscryption Switch version right now; Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and OLED model owners can only play the game on their computers.
Inscryption would be a perfect fit for portable play on Nintendo Switch systems. The card game’s graphics should transition nicely, though if not, there’s also the possibility of an Inscryption: Cloud Version release for the Switch.
