iPhone 14 Headphone Jack: Will the 2022 phone have a 3.5 mm port?

The iPhone 14 is the next big Apple product that fans are getting excited for. Whether it’s an iPhone 14 Mini or iPhone 14 Pro Max, or something in between, eager potential buyers are wondering what exactly the new phones’ specs are. Thanks to early reports and rumors, a more complete picture of what the iPhone 14 will look like is starting to emerge. Will iPhone 14 have a headphone jack? Here’s what’s currently known.

Will the iPhone 14 have a headphone jack?

The iPhone 14 will not have a headphone jack.

The above information is based on reports from industry insiders who have shared renders of what the iPhone 14 is currently slated to look like. These designs are based on leaked information and the natural evolution of the phone’s design and features. Of course, designs can change over time and it’s possible that Apple will subvert expectations and add a headphone jack, but it is highly unlikely.

Making an iPhone 14 headphone port even more unlikely is the existence of the AirPods. Apple sells a ridiculous number of AirPods and it would be limiting potential sales by reintroducing the 3.5 mm port for wired solutions.

Will the iPhone ever get a headphone jack?

It’s highly unlikely that the iPhone will ever get a 3.5 mm headphone jack again.

With AirPods being one of Apple’s best-selling products, the company would be shooting itself in the foot by implementing the 3.5 mm port and allowing the support for traditional wired headphones.

With that said, we recently saw the MacBook Pro take a step backward by adding a bunch of legacy ports like HDMI and an SD Card slot. So there is potential for Apple to add ports of the past.

In other news, DC Fandome has come and gone. It had a bunch of big reveals, but there were some glaring omissions.

The Xbox Series X Replica Mini Fridge sold out just as fast as the real thing. Of course, it’s now being sold by scalpers at inflated prices.
