Google Pixel Fold

When will the Google Pixel Fold release?

When is the Google Pixel Fold release date? That’s the question on the mind of prospective buyers. The long-rumored device was a glaring omission at today’s Google event, and fans are wondering where it was. While tech fans wait for their first look at Google’s potentially revolutionary device, there’s another big question at hand. When will buyers be able to get their hands on it?

When is the Google Pixel Fold release date?

Google Pixel Fold

Currently, the Google Pixel Fold doesn’t have a release date. Yes, it’s in a development purgatory where its existence is all-but-confirmed. As such, there’s no details about when to expect it at present.

Since it’s not even been officially revealed by Google yet — including at today’s conference — you can expect it to still be a few years off. Generally, Google release their phones not long after their official announcement. That’s certainly the case with the latest Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models. They were officially confirmed today, and release on October 28.

Because of this, it’ll probably be a while until we hear anything official on the Google Pixel Fold. Google don’t host these sort of reveal events too often – so if they had anything substantial to share on the Pixel Fold, we would’ve heard something today. It could well be a good few months until there’s an official confirmation of its existence, let alone a reveal event.

However, you can expect the phone to make a huge splash once it’s officially announced. It’ll be Google’s first foray into foldable devices. Considering how their products always push the industry forward, you can bet that it’ll be a game changer upon release. The only problem right now is a simple one – we don’t know when that release will be!
